Tomtom Navcore v8.203 with UK & Ireland Map v8.10 & UK Speed cameras 31/10/08

If you don't know what your doing when installing new firmware (navcore) & Maps on your tomtom device then this download is for you, super easy install.

Ready to mod for your device, with a couple of keyboard presses and some copying and pasting.

Heres the readme from the rar so you can see for yourself, enjoy.

Before following this Make sure you back up your device

OK, after backing up your tomtom extract this rar file

After extraction put your device ID with no spaces in the following file then save & close

X:\TOMTOM_Navcore_8.203-9717\Easyusetools\~Spam~
(Where x is the drive you extrated this rar file)
(Your device ID Looks like: AB0CD FGHIJ and can be found in the version screen on your tomtom
& can also be found in your backup files ttgo.bif (open with notepad))

Now run this file

X:\TOMTOM_Navcore_8.203-9717\Easyusetools\RunMeforDCT.cmd

Press 1 - then hit return on your keyboard
Press 1 again at the next menu - then hit return on your keyboard

Now copy everything from

X:\TOMTOM_Navcore_8.203-9717\Easyusetools\insert_meta_from_Map_here\
(not the folder everything inside the folder)

to here

X:\TOMTOM_Navcore_8.203-9717\root\United_Kingdom_and_Republic_of_Ireland

Then copy everything from

X:\TOMTOM_Navcore_8.203-9717\root\
(again not the folder everything inside the folder)

onto your TomTom device.

Tested & working on my tomtom 700 go, should work with 300, 500, one xl etc.
(Note I don't have these other devices to test, but it's not a problem if it don't
work for you just restore your device from your backup - you did create one right?)

Thanks to Jameson for navcore and the cameras & rented for the UK map, all I have done is arranged them in a way

so even those who know nothing about hacking their tomtom can use navcore with the new UK map & latest speed

cameras.
